Chaplaincy, Spiritual Care and Bereavement
The Chaplaincy, Spiritual Care & Bereavement service provides a team of chaplains and various faith representatives who are available to support you in your time of need, regardless of whether you are a person of faith or not.
The service is open to everyone in our hospital community – patients, carers, visitors and members of staff. It covers Walsall Manor Hospital, the Palliative Care Centre and Dorothy Pattison Hospital.
The service is supported by volunteers and represents the following faiths:
- Christian (Ecumenical and Roman Catholic)
- Muslim
- Sikh
- Hindu
The service can visit you on your ward or unit to share your concerns or celebrate your joys and pray with you if you wish. It can also be arranged for you to attend a service or prayers in our hospital chapel and prayer room.
Holy books are available on each ward upon request.
