What We Do

At Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, our Musculoskeletal (MSK) service provides care for a wide range of conditions affecting your bones, joints, muscles, and soft tissues. This includes issues with your:

  • Spine (back and neck)
  • Lower Body (hips, knees, feet, and ankles)
  • Upper Body (shoulders, elbows, hands, and wrists)

Our dedicated team of specialists, including consultants, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals, work together to diagnose and treat your condition. We aim to help you manage your symptoms, improve your mobility, and get you back to living your life. Whether you need a simple assessment or more complex care, our service is here to support you.


Where We Are Based

Our service is located at the heart of Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.

We provide planned (elective) services from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Our team also handles musculoskeletal emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


How to Access the Service

To be seen by our Musculoskeletal service, you will need a referral. This can be arranged by your GP or another healthcare professional who is looking after your care. They will assess your condition and, if appropriate, send a referral to our team.
