Services
Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Service in the hospital assesses patients’ suitability for the community-based Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme, Heart Care, and provides relevant education and information.
Heart Care provides an eight-week exercise and education rehabilitation programme, including exercise assessment and re-assessment with the opportunity to access ongoing exercise programmes. These include structured unit programmes, home programmes, and Nurse support plans.
Hospital-based Cardiac Rehabilitation Service: Walsall Manor Hospital, Ward 7, Cardiology.
Heart Care community Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme: 12 Portland Street, Walsall, WS2 8AB.
The hospital team refers inpatients.
Heart Care referrals are made via hospital or GP.
