Patients can now have hysterectomies as day cases thanks to a new partnership and a procedure introduced recently at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. A hysterectomy is a surgical procedure that removes the uterus. After surgery, pregnancy is no longer possible and menstruation stops.
