Amelia joined Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust as Managing Director in September 2025 from Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board where she was Deputy Chief Transformation Officer. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the transformation of health and care services to enhance patient outcomes and service efficiency in the region.
Prior to this she worked for University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, progressing from Deputy Chief Operating Officer to Managing Director over the course of five years. She was responsible for the day to day running of the four hospitals and satellite units.
A Registered Nurse by background, Amelia has worked in both acute and community settings. She worked in London for a decade where she held operational roles at University College London Hospitals and Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals, before relocating back to the Midlands.
Until September 2025 she was a Trustee for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity.
