Cancer Services

What We Do

Welcome to the homepage of Cancer Services Cancer Services spans across all care groups within the trust providing an oversight of cancer care and helping teams to work together to deliver the Cancer Strategy. We also work to support operational teams to provide timely, quality care for patients with cancer.

As well as supporting the implementation of the trust cancer strategy the teams are responsible for meeting the National Cancer Peer Review requirements and responding to the National Cancer patient experience survey results every year. The cancer performance and data team are responsible for the day-to-day management of the pathway coordinators and two weeks wait referral process. They are responsible for ensuring patients are seen within national targets through robust tracking and adherence to the cancer escalation policy.

We are proud to be able to offer our local communities a wide range of cancer services from cancer screening, surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and living with and beyond cancer services we strive to provide our cancer patients with the best available care.
