What We Do
The Acute Diabetes and Endocrinology service at Walsall Manor Hospital provides high-quality care for patients with diabetes and hormone-related conditions. Our core focus is on the education and empowerment of patients, their carers, and primary care providers. We offer expert advice and care to both inpatients and outpatients. Our multidisciplinary team includes consultants and clinical nurse specialists, supported by a specialist podiatry team. We also have access to diabetes dietitians, community diabetes specialist nurses, an education team, and retinal screening services to provide comprehensive care.
Where We Are Based
The main department is located at Walsall Manor Hospital, but some of our services are also provided at Bentley Medical Centre.
