The Frail Elderly Pathway (FEP) team at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust works directly within the hospital’s Emergency Department (A&E). The main goal of our service is to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and ensure a safe and timely discharge for patients. The FEP team operates from the Integrated Assessment Hub, located within Walsall Manor Hospital.

This is not a public-facing service. The FEP team works directly with healthcare professionals in the hospital’s Emergency Department (A&E). Patients are referred to us by the A&E staff to help facilitate their discharge.
