What We Do

The Gastroenterology and Hepatology service at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with conditions affecting the digestive system. Our team of consultants and a clinical nurse specialist provide expert care for a wide variety of conditions, including reflux and ulcer disease, abdominal pain, Crohn’s Disease, and all forms of liver disease. We also have specialist clinics focusing on Irritable Bowel Disease, Nutrition, and Hepatitis. The service provides care for outpatients, day cases, and inpatients, and we offer a full spectrum of investigations and treatments, including Capsule Endoscopy.
