Integrated Community Equipment Services (ICES)

What We Do

The Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES) provides a variety of services related to the storage, loan, and adaptation of medical equipment. We help to prevent patient admission to bed-based services and facilitate patient discharge whenever possible.

Our services include:

  • Delivery and collection of equipment to support independent living, such as daily living aids for toileting, bathing, and walking.
  • Loans of profiling beds, bed accessories, and pressure relief equipment.
  • Delivery and fitting of minor aids at a patient’s home, including grab rails, second stair rails, ramps, and half steps.

All equipment is provided on a free loan basis and will be collected when it’s no longer needed.

Where We Are Based

Our hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

We are located at: Unit 5 Electrium Point Ashmore Lake Way Willenhall West Midlands WV12 4LF

How to Access the Service

With the exception of a standard static commode, all equipment services and minor adaptations require a referral. This must be requested by a health or social care professional.
