Pelvic Floor Service

What We Do

The Pelvic Floor Service at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides specialised care for women experiencing pelvic floor problems. We offer consultations and multidisciplinary clinics for patients with issues such as pelvic floor dysfunction or a combination of bowel and bladder incontinence.

Our unique approach involves a joint assessment by a Colorectal and a Gynaecology consultant in the same clinic. This allows us to work together to create a single, coordinated treatment plan. We can manage and treat a variety of pelvic floor disorders, including urinary problems and feelings of pain or pressure in the vagina or rectum.

Treatments we offer include:

  • Anterior and posterior repair
  • Trans-anal rectocele repair
  • Urodynamic assessments
