Services
Our Phlebotomy Service provides a walk in blood testing service for people over the age of 16.
This includes requests from clinicians based in Outpatients, GPs and any urgent blood tests for Chemotherapy and Haematology.
We are based in Walsall Manor hospital on Route 002.
A blood test request from your healthcare provider must be available on our system, or you must present a completed blood test form or stickers, to use the Route 002 Blood Test Service.
We regret that if no request is available when you attend, your blood test cannot be completed. You will be advised to contact your healthcare provider to arrange the necessary referral or request.
For enquiries or assistance, telephone: 01922 721172 ext. 6517.
If your call is not answered, a messaging service is available. Please leave your name, date of birth, and contact details, and a brief description of your enquiry.
A member of the team will endeavour to return your call and help as soon as possible.
During periods of high patient demand, waiting times for blood tests may be longer than usual, and the Phlebotomy Service may need to stop accepting patients before the advertised closing time of 4.15pm.
This helps us ensure that all patients already waiting can be seen safely and appropriately.
Our team is committed to providing a prompt, efficient, and high-quality service to everyone.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and co-operation during busy periods.
