Podiatry (Surgical Team)

What We Do

The Podiatric Surgery service provides diagnostic consultations, non-surgical, and surgical treatments for a range of foot health problems. Our primary role is to help you manage pain, correct foot deformities, and preserve your mobility. We see patients who are in stable medical health and can undergo day surgery using either a local or general anaesthetic.

Our services range from injection therapy and soft tissue management to more complex bone and joint surgery. We also work to prevent conditions from getting worse and offer a variety of treatment options to suit your needs.

Where We Are Based

Our service is located at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust Moat Road Walsall West Midlands WS2 9PS

We operate from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

How to Access the Service

To be seen by our Podiatric Surgery service, you must be referred by a GP or another registered healthcare professional, including Occupational Health at Walsall Manor Hospital. The service is also available through the Choose and Book system, which allows you and your GP to choose the most suitable hospital for your treatment.

For general foot care, high-risk foot care, or wound care, please refer to the Community Podiatry Team instead.
