Psychology (Palliative Care)

What We Do

Our Oncology and Palliative Care Psychology Service provides specialist psychological support for patients and their carers who are dealing with a life-limiting illness. We understand that a serious diagnosis affects a person’s entire life, not just their physical health.

We offer a variety of support methods to help you cope with the emotional and mental challenges that can arise from a serious illness. This includes:

  • Individual support
  • Couples and family therapy
  • Group therapy

Our team of highly trained healthcare professionals provides a confidential space for you to talk about your feelings and thoughts. Seeing a psychologist is not a sign of weakness; it’s a way for ordinary people to cope with the extraordinary stresses of illness and its treatment. Our services are available to patients, their families, and their carers.
