Stroke (Acute)
All acute strokes in Walsall are directed to New Cross Hospital which now provides hyper-acute and acute stroke care and treatment for the region.
Walsall Manor Hospital does offer a Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (SRU) which accepts inpatient referrals directly from New Cross Hospital. Community Stroke Services are also provided for the ongoing care and recovery of patients at home.
