The Teenage Pregnancy Service provides support for young parents and also works to prevent teenage pregnancy.
Our support services offer help to young parents and parents-to-be aged 13–19 (or up to 25 for those with special educational needs or a disability). We provide holistic support that focuses on your health and well-being, working with partner services to make sure you and your child have the support you need. Our goal is to make sure our services are accessible to everyone, including young fathers, and to reduce the stigma that young parents can face.
Our prevention services focus on promoting safe-sex messages and providing support to help young people access sexual health services. We also offer bespoke youth development programmes, like the 16-week Teens and Toddlers programme. This programme helps vulnerable young people improve their understanding of healthy relationships and develop skills in assertiveness and responsibility, while also mentoring a young child.
Our service is located at the Blakenall Village Centre.
