Our Specialist Complementary Therapy Service offers: Guided Relaxation, Aromatherapy, massage, Auricular Acupuncture and HEARTS process for patients with a diagnosis of cancer and those with palliative care needs.

These therapies aim to ease the burden of their condition through providing relaxation and symptom support. The therapies offered can be used safely alongside conventional medicine and are not offered as an alternative treatment. Patient feedback suggests therapies help to ease symptoms of stress, anxiety, pain, nausea, and hormonal symptoms.

Support can be offered at point of diagnosis, during treatment or the palliative stage dependent on individual need and holistic assessment.
