The Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) provides holistic assessment and management for adults with a confirmed, long-term neurological condition. Our service supports individuals throughout their disease journey, tailoring care to their specific needs. The team is made up of a wide range of professionals, including specialist nurses for Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Clinical Psychologists. We work together to provide a seamless, interdisciplinary service. We also collaborate closely with other NHS teams, such as Neurology and Continence Services, as well as specialist regional centres like West Park Hospital.
Our team is primarily based at Short Heath Clinic, where most outpatient appointments and therapy sessions take place. We also offer home visits for those who need them. Additionally, some Multiple Sclerosis clinics are held at Walsall Manor Hospital.
