What We Do
Our Trauma and Orthopaedic service provides a wide range of care for conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system—your bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments. We offer both planned, elective surgery and emergency trauma care.
Our services include:
- General Orthopaedics: This includes common procedures like keyhole surgery on the knee and shoulder, as well as total hip and knee replacements.
- Trauma Surgery: We treat most types of fractures.
- Upper Limb Surgery: We perform total shoulder and total elbow replacements.
- Young Adult Hip Surgery: We offer specialised hip preservation and uncemented hip replacements.
- Ligament Reconstruction
- Revision Arthroplasty: We handle complex and repeat total hip and knee replacements.
- Spinal Surgery
- Foot and Ankle Surgery
- Soft Tissue and Sports Injury Service
- Paediatric Orthopaedic Service: We also provide care for children with orthopaedic conditions through two visiting surgeons.
Please note that we refer complex spinal problems to specialist centres in the region.
